you can paint Carbonfiber. Painting it will still make it much lighter than a non Carbonfiber hood. Look at some of the racing circuits Specifically, in japanese Racing the cars are all carbon fiber and all painted with sponsers and shit. Its no big deal to paint Carbonfiber, just not easy thats all

Shouldn't have chanced something like a CF hood to a random ebay seller. Of course you want exact fitment not to mention quality CF that won't deteriorate on ya..

thanks for the insipering words of wisdom there steve..... u dont happen to have the extra 500$ to send me for a quality CF company hood ? cause if so i would appreciate it very much.

Dave, the install was very easy, deffinatly a 2 man job tho, one to hold the hood and the other to bolt it down, it sits a little high right now, but i think it looks good all in all, and later in life when im more finacialy sound ill prob bring it to a shop to have them trim some metal off the hinges to let it sit lower.
