Fuel pump relay

I have a 1997 318i with the "M" on the side body moulding. I can't find the fuel pump relay. It is not where the Bentley Manual says it should be. I checked the other relays in the power distribution box in the engine compartment. There are only two that are four prong, and neither ohmed to the fuel pump fuse #18. I suspect the fuel pump is bad, but don't want to put out the cash until I'm sure it is the problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Just remove the fuel pump plug turn key to start position and test 2 prongs beside each other for power. If no power then start with fuse

Thanks for the reply. I was finally able to find a diagram for my specific car and test the relay. Turns out it was a bad fuel pump so I swapped it out and the car is up and running again.
