Weird 94 325iS auto tranny issue
Hi, Let me start this by saying I bought a new Harley at the beginning of summer so Guenevere sat for a long time. I drove her the other day and the tranny started to act weird. The one two shift would be fine then 2 seconds into second gear, the revs would come up a few K and the car would not accelarate. If I backed off the gas the tranny would grab normally and I would be able to accelarate as usual.
Friday I tried to drive to work and she would not go up the hill unless I was at 4000 RPM and then only 20 MPH So we're really slipping here.
So last night I desided to take it to the local garage and backing out of the garage at my house it takes a long time to start moving in reverse (more so than usual for this year and model)
Going to the garage I'm also needing to rev the car high.
So today they call and say "Yup, you need a transmission."
I go down and pay the half hour diagnostic time
and drive the car back, up three hills, with no problem!!!!!!
Anyone have any ideas?!?!?!?

Pretty much the exact same thing happened to me once, except it happened only to my first gear, if I matted the gas in first the car would go like 2 MPH, it was bizzare, I just pulled into a parking lot, waited 5 minutes started it up and it worked fine. Hasn't acted up ever since. Weird.
It could be nothing more than needing a fluid/filter change. More importantly filter change. When the filters get clogged, they tend to cause abnormal shift delays.
