OBC Security Code
Hi all, I am new to the forum so firstly want to introduce myself - as of just under a week ago I purchased my first BM - a 1994 325tds se, that I want to take good care of and love 'til the end. I would like to set the 4 digit security code on the OBC (the one needed to actually start the engine!), but I am not quite sure how to do it. If I press and/or press and hold the CODE button - nothing happens!!! The screen remains completely blank, despite all other functions on the OBC working fine! Am I missing something?! Is it disabled or something? If I unlock the OBC (as I have read about on many forums), will this allow me to set it?  Please help me, I am sure it is simple, but it never came with the manual, so don't just tell me to RTFM!  Ta, Saph |
