Yeap, but I got to think about it, when you look at the side view of it, it doesn't look like the regular m3 style rear spoiler...

So, is that different from the m3 style one? And if I want to get the m3 style one, should I just get one saying that I got a m3 coupe?...

Nvm those are not the same as the M3 ones....

The 3 series one:

The m3 one (the one I like):

Notice the difference in the way that the first one curves up...

both look pretty kool. they way the white one curves up is kinda kool IMO. but im def getting one of those 2. but i kinda want one without the breaklight, but maybe i can convince my insurance company the breaklight is a good thing so i can get cheaper rates so i can spend more on the car

Personally I'm a fan of the stock M3 one. The one on the left is a bit too extreme for me. Don't think you'll be needing the downforce unless you're going 180+...

Del, lol, Thx to Komodo, am strongly thinking of getting one (m3 style one). Only a few things are holding me actually deciding to get one, and hopefully, you can help em with those:

1) How "badly" does it affect your visibility?

2) How hard is the wiring of it?

3) Have you had any problems from yoiurs?

Doesn't affect visibility at all. Don't even sweat it.

Wiring isn't that bad. Once you drill the holes into your hood you just use add-a-tap connectors and tap into your brake light wiring.

Nope. No problems yet =) Make sure you do a really good job on the wiring, don't half ass it.

Cool, thx a lot, I'll probably order it whenever my ZKW's get here.. so you might see my car with a spoiler hopefully by the end of this month

I know a few people who've ordered from it without issues.
And I've never heard a single bad story from it. It's trustworthy enough for me to give it a try.

And that's another reason I don't want the brake light on mine. In addition to it looking sleaker imo, I also don't wanna mess with wires. haha

MIght want to check this place out to, I found it on a search:

Seems like they'r selling M3 spoiler with brake light painted to match for $100, seems cheap, but I dunno, maybe too cheap to be completely trustworthy... But they are located inAlbany Georgia

what i mean is my insurance company and my parents are all into saftey for me and the car. so if im lucky i could get my parents to spring for the spoiler cause the breaklight "increases visibilty", my parents are stupid so theyd totally buy it. and when ur a teen insurance on a BMW sucks. so maybe if i tell the insurance company the spoiler is designed for saftey (cause of the break light.thell give me a discount. anythings worth a shot at least once

I bought a M3 spoiler for my 1996 328i from spoilerdepot.com. They come painted in the factory paint and i was very pleased with mine. Exact paint match and easy install. I have had it on for over a year now and have no problems with it. just my 2cents

I doubt a spoiler with a brake light will reduce your insurance. They might get the idea that you break the speed limit often. Also they might not be educated enough to know that a spoiler is 90% cosmetic.

I was under the impression 328's had a 3rd brakelight on the car without a spoiler.
I know my 318 did & 325 does.
