Angry i got a problem

i got put an engine on my e36 93 and it wont start it wont even crank i made shure all the cables were pluged so i got the starter and i went to get it tested and it came out bad so i got a new one i instaled it and when i got inside the oil gauge was on and i dint put the key in so i tried canking it again with new sarter and nothing no crank no nothing i even checked if the starter was geting power and it is i need some big help if anybody thinks wat it is can u let me know i want to have it ready for summer u guys know what i mean.

(a shot in the dark) is it stick shift? maybe the neutral safety switch?

does it make the clicking noise when you are starting it?.............. and if you put a new engine in are you sure the ecu is right............ it can be any number of things......... tow it to a shop and have them look at it......... also possible that u put a seized engine in

yea it may be the ECU, make sure the numbers match
