Drive Cycle - State Emissions Test
 

Hey guys/gals, I've got a '98 323i Drop. I've got the Peake Reset Tool and Code Reader, and had cleared a Check engine code about 2 weeks ago. Brought car to State Inspection, the hook up to computer, and says "Not Ready". The car failed, and the inspection station tells me that I probably have to complete more Drive Cycles. Does anyone know what the Drive Cycle is that "totally" clears the computer, and prepares it for the inspection station to read the puter?

I would think drive cycles are complete trips, with shut downs and restarts.
