Unhappy Fitted new discs and pads, got ticking noise when braking?

I recently installed new drilled and grooved discs and pads myself, all went fine and was pleased with how it went as it was the first time i done them by myself.
I could now look forward to bedding in the brakes and getting them working well.
Although i thought! I am getting a ticking noise when i brake on the nearside brakes and the ticking slows down as the car slows.
I took the brakes apart again to have a look and all looked fine, i put some more brake squeel lubricant on also just incase but i still get this ticking when i brake.
I thought maybe it has something to do with the discs being grooved but its only the one side that does it, the other side is fine.
Also there is still a light grinding noise when i brake even after 50 odd miles.

If anyone could shine any light on my problem i would much appreciate?
