95 325is please help

i recently purchased my first BMW a 95 325is. I absolutely love this car. However there a few things I need to fix up. First off when I try and start the car sometimes it starts right away no problem, than other times it will sit there and turn over but not start. Than it will start, idle very low and stall. I usually let it sit for a couple seconds than try again and she starts right up and purs nicely. If she's been running for a while and is turned off and restarted she seems to start straight off no problem. I have the Bentley service manual on order and should have it soon. any suggestions on where to start with this?

Wow, there are so many issues that can cause yours. You need to stay on the boards and research. Get to know your car! Instead, post all the stats of your car; mileage, maintenance records, etc. and we will try and help. What comes to mind is fuel filter. When was the last time that was replaced?

usually things like that happen to BMW's because of bad sensors and electrical problems rather than mechanical problems. I would take your car to a private BMW mechanic who can hook up to your car's computer and figure out the problem.
