I'm looking to purchase a better flowing muffler than my stock muffler & maybe somebody here has some experience with this topic! I have 3 in mind,
Borla, http://www.bimmerperformancestore.co...ust-system.htm
Supersprint, http://www.turnermotorsport.com/html...DUCT_ID=783606
& Scorpion.

From England, Scorpion stainless steel performance exhaust systems have been sought after by tuners the world over. Now these free-flow, stainless steel systems are available in the U.S. from Bavarian Autosport! They have been engineered to deliver a horsepower boost yet not be quite as loud as other free-flow systems. And they're built to last using the best 304 stainless steel. - TUV certified.

TÜV certified means it's gotta be good
but I'd say Borla>Scorpion>Supersprint although my fav. exhausts are Remus

it's a tough decision, they're all quality makes

I've had experience with Scorpion and they usually need a lot tweeking to fit right. I would recommend Supersprint (they make Hartge and Hamann exhausts) and Remus (they also produce exhausts for German tuners).

Thanks! nick! I found a Supersprint for $568.97 @ HMSmotorsport. The going price seems to be about $627.00.

oh I forgot my over-the-top brand: Sebring. Hand made Austrian exhausts. e30 325i exhausts go over the counter at about 680 Euro/1000 bucks. I'm not really sure about the e36

I'm not sure where your located, but if you live in the snow belt and drive your car all year round I would definitely recommend paying a little bit more for the stainless version.

I have the exact Supersprint exhaust as the one in your link on my 323i. It's perfect for me, the sound is moderate when in low revs but picks up nicely in higher revs which i what i wanted. It's not stupidly loud like i've heard some of the scorpion ones to be. It also allows the raspy sound of the 6 cylinder to still be heard.
Was easy to fit also.
Perofrmance wise i couldn't say as i haven't dyno'd it, feels a bit more responsive though overall, especially in the higher rev range.

The supersprints are stainless with a black outer covering to help them last even longer.

Thanks again nick! I'm probaly going to get the Supersprint muffler from Turner Motorsport, I'm also looking to pick up, cross drilled rotors too. They have their own TMS cross drilled rotors @ reasonable price!
