that's for fuel sys in my car 320i e36,
I just have a problem in my car, and found these hoses are blocked.
I want to be sure if it the main problem of my car. I'm sure they made some problem because it's not normal to be blocked. but I dont no which problem they will make if it blocked, is the car wont start, or bad adileing... etc.
I cant explain my problem exactly accept I know the reason of it. then I'll post for you and how I solve it.

just tell me if you know what that hoses can make if it blocked.

seeing how its the fuel lines i would assume the ones that are blocked are vacuum type lins for the system. so you might not be getting the full fuel pressure to the engine.

Thanks Mr. Numark318i,

I'll tell you the prob.

I just replaced that hose No.4 and cleaned hose No3. and refix every thing again( Hoses , Air filter, Air mass....).

But when I tryed to start the engine, it wont start! :!: :?: !, Actually it start but the RBM going down to come off. I think that there is something wrong in the ICV. I disconnected the plug and fixed it again. then the car start but with bad idle ( the engine was dancing ).

What I did>>> I take for 10 min driving maby it's need some hit in her head. I taked to the high way until speed 140 for a while. but no thing changed.

the performance was very bad. hesitation and engine dancing.

When I diagnosed it yesterday. I had error in all following sensors:
1- Mass air flow sensor.
2- Throtle positon sensor.
4- Idle control valve sensor.
5- O2 sensor.

We cancled all that errors, then make scan for erros again, I got that O2 sensor only keep appearing when scanning.

But I'm sure that not caused by O2 sensor , I think that wrong still caused by Idle control. Because that O2 sensor error is a long problem, I replaced it already before a year but the error still appear!!

Whech let be sure about Idle control. that I taked my car to 2 proffesional mechanicals. the first one when he saw the car dancing, He said that this caused by Idle control ( like what I'm thinking ). the second one said that may caused by many things.

Any way... I'm planing to do a manual check for all sensors. which I think the diagnostic can't catch them. I'll try that soon.I'll start with that Fucking Idle ( sorry for that word, but because I'm gettin crazy of that ) which I think it's the main reason of my problem.

Any Idea.... any one had like this prob and have solved it before.

Thanks,

Thanks,

Have you checked the sensor between hose 3 & 4? That sensor might have gone bad and might be triggering the ECU to let the car run with too much gas.

The diagram you guys are throwing around is the evaporative emission control system. If it's blocked up, you need to replace everything including the control valve (part #1) and the canister. Whenever you fill up, don't top off the gas to the next dollar amount after the pump clicks to a stop. Doing this backs up the fuel evap system and clogs up the canister with excess liquid fuel, rendering it ineffective . . down the line, that can cause your fuel pressure regulator to fail . . which is what could be wrong with your car.

A failing fuel pressure regulator does not throw a code, so folks don't suspect it as the culprit. Rather, it will cause the computer to think other things have gone haywire, like the parts you mentioned, even though they may or may not be defective. And it can explain why your O2 sensor(s) coded. That regulator could have gone bad long ago, and the only telltale sign at first is a slight drop in mpg, and wet spark plugs. If not replaced and taken care of, the situation can progress to worse things. It can overwork the fuel pump and eventually damage the spark plugs, O2 sensors, and catalytic converter.
