Which Wheels?
Which wheels do you think look better? I realize both are kinda on the tame side. The one is on my car already. The other is a friend's wheels. When he sells his car he says he'll swap wheels with me. He has newish Pirelli 3000s on his and I have half tread left on Michelins. The tires are a no brainer, what about the wheels? Should I swap the tires only or go for the wheels too.

That's kinda how I am leaning. My spokes won't turn any heads, but I like them alright just the same. I think they're sportier than the bottlecaps. How much do you think a garage will charge me to swap tires, $5 each? $10?

Walmart is acceptable for this procedure. they will be inexpensive
i have bottlecaps for my snow tires, yea that are really really ugly, totally set the car off and really ruin its beauty, however in the summer i rock some nicer wheels(thanks to dudesky!)

Pirellis=Cool
Michelin=not cool at all. My mom had some on her Benz. They were freakin dangerous.
Now she switched to Conties (which I have as well) and it's a lot better ride.
BTW, is your buddy a bit slow? Just thinking...someone willing to trade new Pirellis against bad Michelins...

What was dangerous about the Michelins? My buddy is planning on selling his car and getting a newer BMW. He just bought the car and put on the Pirellis. When he sells the car he wants to give me the tires. He only plans on getting 1k for the car so he wants the tires to go to a good home.
The only way he'd change his mind I suppose is if the newer BMW needs the Pirellis.

Ah, nevermind. I just realized I have Bridgestone Potenzas on my car.
