Which Wheels?
Which wheels do you think look better? I realize both are kinda on the tame side. The one is on my car already. The other is a friend's wheels. When he sells his car he says he'll swap wheels with me. He has newish Pirelli 3000s on his and I have half tread left on Michelins. The tires are a no brainer, what about the wheels? Should I swap the tires only or go for the wheels too.

Keep your wheels, bottlecaps suck. Take the tires though.
|
+1 on keeping your original wheels!
|
That's kinda how I am leaning. My spokes won't turn any heads, but I like them alright just the same. I think they're sportier than the bottlecaps. How much do you think a garage will charge me to swap tires, $5 each? $10?
|
yea you dont want those second ones... came on my 325 stock and theyre ugly
|
I would stick to the ones you have now.
Cheers, |
like $20 a tire to swap and balance.

Thanks for the comments and opinions. I'll keep the spokes and wrap the Pirellis.
|
i have bottlecaps for my snow tires, yea that are really really ugly, totally set the car off and really ruin its beauty, however in the summer i rock some nicer wheels(thanks to dudesky!)
|
Bottle caps = perfect ugly winter wheels.

Pirellis=Cool
Michelin=not cool at all. My mom had some on her Benz. They were freakin dangerous. Now she switched to Conties (which I have as well) and it's a lot better ride. BTW, is your buddy a bit slow? Just thinking...someone willing to trade new Pirellis against bad Michelins... |

The only way he'd change his mind I suppose is if the newer BMW needs the Pirellis. |
Do what everyone else said, i kind of like a bottle cap wheel.
