What Battery is Compatible with an E36???
I have a 1994 E36 325i 4D, and I went to Sears to get a battery, but they don't have one compatible with my car. They said they could match it, but I decided to check the dealership, and they charge 257 bucks!!!! Does anybody have a reccomended battery?? I have no clue what to do... And if possible, I want to keep the cost less than or equal to 100 bucks for the battery.

I know NTB sells one, but don't know if they have a location up where you are.
check out www.dcpoweronline.com. I hear the deka batteries are good, the ETX30L should be a fit, but I'm not speaking 1st hand. Also, check out tirerack.com.

The largest auto battry that will fit into your trunk will be splendid. The more cold cranking amps you've got in there, the better you are in the cold. Battery capacity listed in the books inform you what the recommended Cold Crank Amps should be and what the Capacity should be for the car to start normally about 5 times in a row without charging.
If you get a battery with a larger capacity and more CCA that will fit in the awkward hole you are further ahead. Think of it like this. The recommended specs is the money your bro recommends to carry with you to the club when you take a girl out. If you take more, you'll be better off.
