Replaced Wheel Bearing twice in 2 years. Why?
I have a 94 325is and have had to replace my wheel bearing in the right rear twice in the past 2 years. The car is not lowered but has 17" m series wheels off a 2003 3 series. Next week will be my third time. Anyone have any idea why this would keep going out? It is getting costly!!
Check the suspension components in the rear. Maybe you have worn bushings, causing a movement in the rear resulting in the bearing going out?
also is the bearing you are replacing with Oem?

I will have to have my mechanic check on the suspension stuff. Do you have a recomendation on wheel bearing to use. I would assume that my mechanics have been using OEM bearings?
I Would Agree That Its Probably Some Sort Of Suspension Component Out Of Whack Causing Extra Stress On The Bearing And Therefore A Shorter Lifespan. I Dont Know If The Offset On Hose Wheels Is Different From Your Stock But Sometimes That Can Cause Stress On Bearing But I Would Think It Would Be The Same All Around No Just In That Corner

^Have it replaced with a BMW OEM bearing. They should last for around 5-10 years if not more under normal use. You are either really hammering the car (lots of left turns) or there is something out of whack in the right rear.
for this repair, especially because this will be your third time, id eat it up and take it to the dealer, some things with BMWs are just unique, like for a lot of suspension components, you are not supposed to tighten the bolts when the wheels are hanging loose(like on a lift) you are actually supposed to tighten them as if the car was on the ground
