Getting off Brake Booster
How does the hose come off the brake booster? Do I just pull? I'm running some Sea Foam tomorrow.

Good idea! Oddly enough I have a piece of garden hose laying around. So it fits over the manifold outlet, yes? This is my first time using Sea Foam. Do you use it as preventative maintenance or have you used it to solve issues like rough idle? I'm slowly getting to know my car now, coming up on 3 months of ownership. I've concluded this is a good thing to do. I suspect the engine is dirty. PO did not do this ever and used Penzoil from 62k to 130k
I'll put half in through the manifold, half through the valve cover and one full pint in with 10 gallons of gas. Sound good?

yea the hose should fit right on, my manifold is different than yours but it should be ok. yes its def good to use as both preventative measure and as cleanup and it may straighten out a rough idle, etc. a couple tips though.. if u want to do the job right, use a FULL can into the manifold and it says to let it sit for 15 minutes.. but the longer the better. ill let mine sit for like 4 hours.(1st time i let it sit for 15 minutes and got next to no smoke comin out, meaning it didnt clean very much out. next time i did it for a few hours and holy shit did it smoke) use another FULL can on a FULL tank of gas and if you wanna run it in the crankcase just add it a couple days or a week before you change the oil. also u may need a friend to man the throttle because if u pour it in too fast it'll wanna stall out. good luck and enjoy smokin out the neighborhood haha its really quite a sight
