E36General discussion and technical help for (E36) 1992-1999 3 series cars. 318, 323, 325, 328.
nice one but you need also fog lights and in my opinion the color that in ur sig looks great
i like ur wheels they looks great
remark , removing ur door side is not good idea they give some protection to u and car body
+1 on the fogs, they are going on with my M bumper which is currently at the shop about to get painted.
The color in my sig is the same color as all of the other pictures. The amount of metallic we used in the paint makes for a range of blue in different lights all the from gray to purple under orange flourescents. Around dusk/dawn I get the darker blue.
Wheels are type 67 reps, got from a guy on CL for 300. I dont think he realized what a bargain he was giving me.
They provide no protection for the driver and while they do assist in the prevention of door dings, they are not what I wanted in the conversion. I am on a mission to prove that you can have a classy/not riced BMW that doesnt look exactly like everyone elses.
There is much more that I am still working on, it has only been a year. As far as money put into it, far more than its worth. Same with my wife though. Thats why they call it love.
IC , you know the thing that make me stop doing modification is " money " but once i have enough cach i spend it without calculation , if i make some calculation i am sure that i will found that i spend money on my car more than my wife????
sound like my car is my 2nd wife!!! looool
that nice ride u have
Nice Interior, I like that it matches the exterior.
Thank you.
The interior is still a touchy area with me. I continue to refine and make small changes as I go. I am wrapping the plastic seatbacks that have been dyed blue in the same suede that the door panels were wrapped in. I am not pleased with the dyed blue plastic look. I might have pictures this weekend.
I dont really have anything secret going on. I have an M bumper in the body shop right now and some twisty skirts and M rear bumper/diffuser being shipped right now. Its getting a CF hood and trunk. This summer is S50 cams and UUC underdrive pulleys. It still has a way to go but I am pleased with progress so far considering the first 3 months of ownership were making it run again and completely refreshing the suspension. I cleaned my MAF this last weekend. I constantly tinker so I am sure it will be changing more.
