so in theory i am okay as far as head gasket is concerned? just need to go on with this valve issue and check all hoses im hoping. this is the part of working days that kills. i gotta work on my car thru the night and nevermind the idea of getting sleep. this p.i.t.a. problem will be figured out b4 i rest again. im tired of its existence. lol.
so if there is no water inside (u are in safe side ) , the next step is to check all coolant lines (check also the lines connected to the engine ), maybe the lines is not tied or damaged coz of heat,
if the heater is not working that's mean no water go to the heater core then so the heater core is fine , and the valves needs clean and it lines must be checked
ur problem is small don't worry just leaks on pipes , good look

Thanks to all who replied. The part to be relaced is the lower valve hose from heater valve that has a block inlet. on the backside of the block between it and the firewall. Part # to the hose is 64211394293. troubles to be concluded and cruises to begin.

Hey JBM how did you finally resolve the problem? I think i have the same problem i have a broken clamp that let go on the hose near the backside of the block near the firewall. It sounds like the same problem you had. i took my car to mechanic and he could see the problem but couldn't get to it. do you know what i need to take apart to get to the hose?
