A couple months ago, I posted a thread asking about the e36 and reliability etc. Well a month later I am now an owner of a e36 BMW.

2 days ago I picked up a 99' M3 coupe with 65k. Blue with black leather, 19" inch rims, plus I received the stock ones, and the big one IS NO ENGINE MODIFICATIONS, completely stock. After driving it I can now see why people LOVE their BIMMERS, as they are truly a joy to drive.

The only thing I can notice that is of concern is the heater blows out cold air, even when I turn the digital thing to 90 F it is still cold. If I am idling it gets luke warm, but I want it HOT. The temp gauge is in the middle, so it is not over or under heating I guess. I was told by a friend It could be my thermometer. Any clues, suggestions, or tips would be appreciated.

are you completely new to bmw, as in not very familiar with the controls? sounds silly but i had the same "problem" with mine being as i bought it in summer and when winter came i couldnt get any damn heat out of the thing. had it on 90, still nothing. it was my first bmw and i had never paid attention to the manual blend door under the main vent. maybe stupid question but do you still have it on cold (blue)?
