Unhappy E36 328i will not start

I was driving my 1995 328i today all was fine, I stopped at trafic lights & rev counter started to hunt up & down a little then as i tried to drive off the car jurked then cut out? the car starts a little then cuts out again, Can anyone give me some advise?

The alarm, battery, & starter are all OK

How many miles? May be a fuel pump.

Thanks for the info, I think you may be correct as I cannot hear the fuel pump when the ingnition is turned on.

Fuel pump, Autohausaz, Also check with with bavauto there price is higher but they will do a price match if you call them!

On a car that old, if you have fuel pressure to the rail, my next suspect would be the crank position sensor. You are going to have to do some diagnostics to verify whether the injectors are pulsing and the plugs are firing.

thanks manolito.i did check the fuel rail no fuel going threw.i also replaced the petrol pump still no fuel.Think it could be the relays.Only thing is id ont know wich one is the pumps relay and they are also saying i should check the dme relay.but who knows wich one it is.thanks for ur help.much apreciated
