Is there any differnce in performance if we compare it with German edition??[/QUOTE]

yes they are differ on ratio the german one have better acceleration than us model from 0-100 km coz germany have mountain roads
but in other hand US model is better after speed 100km , but i think the speed stops at 215km for safety, max speed i drive is 200km loool
why not swap ur gearbox to manual gearbox it will be better my bro have E30 325i he can beat my car from speed 0 to 140km ????

mmmmm... I thought that the german bmw is better in high speeds. but no problem,I'm happy with it's performance, at least it's better than the 320i ( the turtle ).

I think that's enough. And we can solve this if I need by fixing a chip.

That idea was in my mind since I have the 320i. Do you think any maual gearbox can fix in mine 325i. I mean if found one of e36 318i with 5 speed. is it fit. ???
Do I have to change smoe other parts like diff ...
Is there any electrical editing must be done beside that?

Mr. Max79 , I have prob in my lighting. could you see this thread and tell me your openion.

the first one (signal light) that is a modification done by the last owner it shouldent be on

for 2nd problem (fog light with High beam lights) i have the same on my car 325is it look like a cop car.... looool ,but for high beam ur not need fog lights but i think if you change the light connector as i think by the way u can check this web
http://www.pelicanparts.com/bmw/tech...Ellipsoids.htm

about the 318i gearbox its not compatible for ur 325 you can use it but it will give higher RPM for low speed the engine will be tired youy have to find 325 or 320 gearbox with complete set

z3 2.0 or 2.8 gear box... i have no idea but if the engine are the same it will be fit but you need also to change the Shaft. and other stuff like oil pump for clutch ,gear shift knob , .....etc
for signal lights on with low beam its editing job iam 100% sure of that ,it looks cool why not ur bothering ur self with that?

My friend try to fit an engine of 1.8 z3 in his 318is, it's same. and he said that the z3 gearbox & engine same like e36.

Regarding the signals , Ur right. ignore them. it's not a big problem.

Thanks,

That's because the Z3's 1.8 is the same engine as the 318is. I believe they're both the M43 (depending on the years of the cars, I could be wrong on that number). And the Z3 is basically an E36.

I dont have this handle, I opened the cover which is down of the steering wheel to be sure if not broken or removed , it seems that it's not avilable as a spec. and actually the steering arm is tighted by to bolts in the body, which seems it's not adjustable, that's why I'm asking about it. I didint find tha handle. I'm not sure if not removed , but this is the second car I found without handle for the steering ( the one which with my frind 325i - japanies- was like this too!!?).

Can I add it , by remove it from the last 320i and add it to my 325i??
any more info>>>

thanks,
