E36 320 M52 iddle probem

Hello everyone.
As you can see this is my first post here.

I have E36 M52 engine 320 and have been very pleased with my car for more than 3 years so far.

I have a promlem since last month.

Car is showing variations in rpm while iddle.

I have read all about ICV cleaning and was planning to do that right after the New Year eve.
But since this evening car wont go over 1000 prm no mather what i do.

Can this also be caused by the dirt in the ICV.

Also can someone point me where to look for the ICV (i know is somwhere around the intake manifold).

Thanks for any help.
Marjan

Whens the last time your plugs were changed? Air filter, gas filter cloged? It could be something simple as that.

It happened during ride. I stoped to wait my friend for a half an hour (while engine running - it is cold out side :-)) and when i tryed to go, it wont.
It runs ok on idle but when i pres the pedal it just bouncing from 600 to 1000 rpm no mather how hard i press it.

the rpm gose up and down means the air flow meter is needs to change ( of o2 sensor),
if while driving means the fuel pump prussere is not fine or its relay have problem first change the relay
but iam sure ur fuel pump have the problem
