Big Convertible Problem!!! Please Help
hey i have a 94 325 vert and the auto top is un hooked, i have it as a manual open/close.... now the prob starts with the lid that covers the top while down... its seems as though it has been pushed back to where now the trunk cannot open... it seems sturdy and i dont see how it moved... big prob please help if possible. Thanks. jeremy
hmm. try to maually open the top and see if you can get in there?
maybe check your fuses?

yea ill upload some pics later today, but as of now it is manual and has always been, ive never had the motor connected. just when i lift the lid manually its seems as though it has been moved toward the back of the car so it over laps the trunk and in all keeps the trunk pried shut... its kind of a big issue i have lots of important stuff in the trunk...

Hey Found a Solution: "the 4 bolts that hold the Boot or "lid that covers the top while down" as you call it are adjustible. If the Boot is slid back far enough to prevent the trunk from opening you need to make your adjustment there and then make certain that the bolts are quite tight! My friend has an E36 like mine and had the same issue that you describe. I adjusted the Boot bolts and now the boot functions fine as does the opening of the trunk."
