hey people
i have a question i have a 93 318is i was on the express last night like about 55 to 6o mph then sudenly the car turns off with the speed i had i made it to an exit and i try to start the car but it souds like a faulty starter i got good juice in my battery i havent changed the starter but i just wanted to know if any of u guys new why did the car turn off or is there another problem.

Ok the starter only starts the car, it has nothing to do with the normal ignition system. By wires he means wires leading to your spark plug. Problems can come from your distributor cap, spark plugs, and anything with the word ignition in front of it. I've never seen it but maybe a squirrel ran up into your engine and chewed on some wires (plausible for my e30). Check your maintenance history and see when the last time all that crap was replaced it might have been overdue.
EDIT: Sorry if that was vague but whatever I shouldn't be posting after a long weekend.

maybe your alternator, that would have caused your car to die and maybe even though you think you got juice in the battery it may not be enough to start the car
