Newbie and EVAP issues

Hello all. I am the proud owner of am M52 e36 '98 model. Its a great car and I drive it A LOT (400 to 700 miles a week right now). Ive put over 10k on the last year Ive owned it. Currently I am having the EVAP code come up, I cant remember the exact number, its not in front of me. I was just wondering what is the best way to go about fixing this? I checked my gas cap and it is fine, I dont have any fuel leaks or anything. I think it may be that carbon cannister but I am not sure. The car is running great and fuel economy is strong. I have to renew my tags in a few months so Ive gotta pass damn emissions.

ANOTHER question. On my sunroof. The one touch feature ONLY works when I open it, BUT NOT when I close it. It does this on the rear windows as well. I was told this was a faulty comfort relay by a guy from Bav Auto. SO I dropped 20 bucks, gt it in, and when I got the drivers side trim, knee bolster, and relay braket exposed, I discovered that my car is not equipped with the relay. It isnt there. The Bentley manual says that not all cars are equipped with this. SOO does this mean its the actual switch that is bad? OR is my comfort relay hidden someplace else?

Thanks in advance!
