I have a 1996 328i and now i getting a problem with I think the computer,,, I get a Check Engine Light ON and I took it to the dealer and they thing I got a bad computer... someone knows how to fix it or replace it??? or I can simply buy another one and put in place???
Hi! Question for you... does your engine light that stays on actually read "CHECK ENGINE," or is is a an amber-colored gear symbol with an exclamation point in the center? I'm curious - I've also got a '96 328i, but no owner's manual came with the car, so I don't know if that symbol is in place of the "CHECK ENGINE" phrase...
