when you turn the ignition, do you hear anything. check your battery, alternator, could be a starter. i mean do the basics first.
the person that sold me tha car had the same problem after an engine wash and he told me to be carefull because the ecu box is cracked and i think that somehow some water got at it again after a big rain. the simptoms are those of an engine that has no ignition (battery is ok, the starter is doing its job and all the other things because i already checked) i managed to get it running today but after 10 meters of ride, changing the car's position the engine simply stopped working and now refuses to start again.

Pickup sensor WILL cause that, the fellow that "cleaned" the engine bay sounds like he may have forced water in where it shouldn't be. High pressure and steam washing can be VERY dangerous to electrical components and connectors, water forced in causes corrosion and high resistance screwing up all kinds of things. Easy check, crank the vehicle and if the engine light does not go out while cranking, the computer is not getting a CKP (RPM) signal. Find out why, bad wire or bad sensor or bad air gap.
