Performance Chip for 320i?

Hey, I've been doing a tiny bit of modding to my bimmer, so far, I've got a CAI kit, free-flowing muffler and planning on a wider throttle body, underdrive pulleys and fan delete mod.

To compliment all this I want to get a performance chip, but I cant find one for my car :(.

Do you guys know where I can get one or will I need it custom made/ecu remap to tweak the settings?

One more question, does anyone know if my car has VANOS? I'm pretty sure they only used VANOS in E36's from 'end of 92-93 onwards so I don't think so, but I haven't checked it out yet.

Just to clarify....1992 E36 320i SE (Not sure if it's vanos as the car was made around the time it was implemented)

Thanks in advance :thumbup

I don't know much about the 320i's. Good question, but there has to be some sort of a chip available for your car. Have you tried using google, or another search site? Without doing a full 3.5" intake I dont know if a larger throttle body would be worth it.

I have been looking for ages and couldn't find anything. So today I decided to pulled out the ecu to find the No.

It's "0 261 200 402".

The ecu seems to be the same as the 325i ecu, so do you think this will work on my 320 with positive results?

If you just browser search 402 you will see what I mean.

When you say full 3.5" intake, do you mean just the CAI Kit or is there more to it?

Thanks
