Either that or I could continue working toward my Dinan badge. I could get a High Flow Throttle Body and Dinan Exhaust.... but it's more expensive.

id go for the exhaust. those wheels might be a little sketch, $599 for four wheels...all i have to say is that you get what you pay for. the exhaust is mostly for sound but power gains are apparent, my system u gave me some. as for the o2 simulators, AA probably sells them separately since they come with the trackpipe.

Hurm, I'm getting very mixed opinions on rims or exhaust. Ahhh, I'm undecided. haha, I can see it both ways. I'm leaning more toward the exhaust though, but rims would be nice.....

I called Active Autowerkes. They sell them for my car, $99 a pop, and they say I'd need two. A bit pricey. I'd do it for the check engine light more than anything, but someone in another thread mentioned I'd get some gains from that because the engine wouldn't be running in a "safe mode" type of operation. Is that true? Can anyone shed some light on this? Thanks.

wow $99 per??? fuck. thats so much more than the diff between the trackpipe for OBD1 and 2. wow. im floored. i have the 02 sensors and i can vouch for power gains, with a dyno graph. im not sure about the safe mode, but i talked to Rennwerks a while ago, and they basically told me that anything other than stock is likely to mess with things, even if it is only to a slight degree.

I wonder if you could pay someone to weld some bungs to the Xpipe, makes some holes, and just screw the original sensors back in? Wonder if that would work? And how much?

Look at the IE stainless catback.. its almost half the price of the uuc and IE is a reputable company.

ireland engineering

You could probably go with new rims and an exhaust at that price.

go for the uuc system u exuast. i would rather have the exhaust now and save up for better rims. not that they are bad but you could get much better. the exaust sounds great and makes driving that much more enjoyable.

I only rated your car a 7 because it didn't have rims... if you had rims it would have been an 8-9 for sure... however, I don't like those rims a whole lot :P

Rims are not just a cosmetic upgrade. The larger wheels will give it a little stiffer feel, the wide tires will grip really well, and a lot of people will agree that one of the best first upgrades you can do aside from a driving school is new tires.

Oooooooorrrrrrr...

I'm starting to think those rims won't be a good idea because they are pretty inexpensive and thus lower quality. Maybe I should wait and get better ones in the future.

I'm starting to think I should get a UUC System U and some sway bars.... what about that- some suspension work?
