Muffler
My car is about 15 years old now and so are the parts. Just recently a friend of mine calls me out of my car to let me know that my car just took a shit... The shit in question was actually part of the baffle within the muffler. I figure it's just corroded due to age. I am running a bavauto cat that comes with no resonators and was wondering what cheap muffler options I have. I dont really need anything too fancy and recently read Shahab's Auto X thread and am considering what he did. The only thing is I don't know what he did!

150 for an oem one.. Maybe but what other options do I have for around the same price?I mean I can live without baffles in my muffler for a while. Right?
^^^ yeah, you can live without them for as long as you want!
i was looking at an ansa sport and i coulda got one for about the same price as the bosal. but some sites listed that i needed an ansa center pipe for an additional $50, and some said you just need to cut the pipes to fit.
i basically didnt get the ansa because there were too many unanswered questions and my budget was a bit tight.
but i have to say, the bosal is throaty in its own right. it sounded much better than the old one. i was decently surprised by it.
if you do get that exhaust off, run it without it for a minute, its a hoot
well, I have a Bosal and I regret it... because it was about 200 Euro and the sound is only good at about 2000 rpm... I should have spent a bit more and get myself a supersprint...

.. I don't know I just want something cheap and effective. Do I really need a $600 exhaust just to have a fox or a horse stamped on the tip?
could get something like a magnaflow muffler, a resonator, and a hi - flow cat. That would be cheaper than a $600 catback. I plan to do something like that.
