cluster question

hey anyone think that a 1998 328i instrument cluster will fit a 1993 325i? any ideas, my died out and im bidding on one from ebay

It should physically fit. However, the connections could be different. I know that both of the clusters are uncoded, so you won't have a problem in that department, but if the wiring harnesses changed from 1993 to 1998, you'll run into some issues.

Anyone else know about this?

if i can remember ill look up the part numbers at work tomorrow and see if they match, if they do then ull be straight

They don't match exactly. That's why I'm curious as to what changed.
