cluster question

hey anyone think that a 1998 328i instrument cluster will fit a 1993 325i? any ideas, my died out and im bidding on one from ebay

It should physically fit. However, the connections could be different. I know that both of the clusters are uncoded, so you won't have a problem in that department, but if the wiring harnesses changed from 1993 to 1998, you'll run into some issues.

Anyone else know about this?
