Wiper arm position

Anyone else have this problem? The passenger side wiper arm recedes about 1/4" too low, and consequently knicks the hood. Any way to adjust the arc of the arm a bit so I can avoid the contact? Thanks.

P. S. Sorry if the pic doesn't appear unless one logs in, I don't know how to do otherwise.

It may be easier to adjust the hood hinges I think
