Flashing lights in temp control switches
My car seems to be full of issues at the moment and I am not sure how related they all are. I need to check the rear wiring harness as the trunk light flickers when I open/close it. Compressing the harness by hand seems to have no effect on the light tho. Also the two cabin temp control switches (with the red and blue triangles) flash when I have the lights on. I thought this could be just a loose connection on the bulb as it is just the blue triangles that flicker. Otherwise controls seem to be working fine. Fan runs at all speeds and no on/off issues. Plus the aux fan is not switching on, but the engine cooling system is another story right now... I have done heaps of seaches on the flickering temp control switches but only come up with the blown resistor issue but none mention my simptoms. Any thoughts before I start dissecting yet another part of my car? |
