Evil Transmission Job

Hey all. Been awhile since ive last posted- I went on a bit of a "lets not do anything" vacation, but now my new Stage1 SPEC clutch arrived, and I am trying to put it in. The exhaust came out flawlessly, and the drive shaft is also finally off. Unscrewing the transmission is kinda tricky though. The Bentley Service manualmanual just tels you to unscrew the screws, but the screws are rather hard to get to (due to their position behind the transmission. I took off a transmission mount, and everything tilted to the point where I can get a REALLLY extended socket in there, but no matter how hard I crank it, the extenders seem to be acting as an elastic, and stuff breaks. Anyway, those bolts are soo tight, there dont seem to be a way to get em off. Did anyone ever do this in the past?

i used a 2ft extension and had the ratchet behind the transmission, its also going to require a couple of bars in addition to the ratchet for leverage

PM Dudesky, he did it first hand here: E36 Clutch

In fact, his was on a 1992 325i, so it'll be pretty close.

As for me, I've really only watched the whole process. However, either long, high-quality extensions or mix them with swivel things. However, my experience is on a 1995 M3, so it'll be a bit different.
