A/C is charged, thanks to the extremely helpful walkthrough on here!
The rest of the fluids will need to be checked, preferably changed and the belts will have to have a decent check as well.
The brake system is going to be a professional job, though - don't think i'll try my luck on that.
Flushing the cooling system...never done that before, i'm sure it's not rocket science, though. Is there a walkthrough similar to the A/C recharging one on here?
On a side note; i've been on quite some forums, own some forums myself and can honestly say; your response time and quality of responses on UB is great!

Offhand I can't recall where I came upon the cooling system DIY, maybe on the Pelican site. The key thing is the car will have to be elevated so as to permit access to the engine block drain, and of course ya gotta catch (most of) the coolant as it pours (gushes) out. And pay attention to the type of coolant you put in, the owner's manual will tell you what to avoid, but if you don't have that then I think you are to avoid borates, silicates, phosphates, and nitrates. The newer, long term formulations, such as Prestone Quick Fill Premix (orange stuff) are good and easy to use.

I suppose once the problems are fixed, the next task is to make my machine a head turner. Subtle to the eye, but unmistakably a pure bread 325i.
I guess in regards to exhaust i have one question. I'm going to opposite direction of most car owners. I want mine to be as silent as possible. Basically, if you can't hear me coming and i suddenly appear behind or actually rather in FRONT of you and it shocks your socks off, 'cause i came out of "nowhere" then i accomplished what i set out to do. Anyone have any tips on how to get the exhaust noise reduced to a minimum, without losing power and visual enpipe character?
