Daytime Running Lights - United Bimmer Community

I've just imported a 1993 E36 into Finland. Daytime Running Lights are required by law. Not difficult to do with a couple of relays and a splice or two. BUT - is the car already wired for this anyway does anyone know?

No. Daytime running lights weren't available on the early models.

why not just turn on your normal lo-beams?

If you have ellipsoid headlights, I'm pretty sure there is a socket for the bulb built into the high beam reflector. At least that's how aftermarket Depo's are made. But you may have to run wire from the headlight socket.

well then just put a post-it tag on the steering wheel or the speedomiter
