hm what can this be . .?

I was putting in clear corners, and I think this came off, it just hands now and yeah what the hell could it be and were does it belong. im pretty sure its a sensor or something but to what?
its this thing . . .

yes i vote this is the air temperature gauge. Attaches to front grill somewhere.

It is the external temp sensor. Don't lose it, they are not cheap.

Does you front spoiler have a hole in the insert by the foglight? That is where the E34 one is. There is a little round supoort that it slips into.
