what u mean "just", if i was u, i would recharge the AC anyway, change all fluids, spark plugs might as well. that way u get a fresh record keeping start.
u never know when the last owner charged the ac with freon/R-134a , u might have a leak. might as well take it to be inspected and recharge it.
as for the window, window switches or fuses blow out, check those as well. not too sure though.
the temperature gauge on BMW is always on the middle, don't be scared of that.
try recharging the ac, you can do it yourself its very simple(shouldnt be any different from a honda)
and the normal operating temperature is straight up, so no worries, only if it gets there a little to quickly as ive said very recently, then yoru water pump impeller may be on its way out(did you replace ur water pump with plastic impeller or metal impeller?)
and if you push the switch an dit makes a sound, sounds like the motor is spinning but its not moving the track, you'd need to remove hte door panel and daignose

You may want to check your mocro filter under the dash, may not be the cause of lack of cold air but it may be very restrictive, also make sure you have the controls in the proper settings, see the owners manual I had the recirculating air on and it did not work as well, The window motor may be bad, I just did my drivers side, see Pelican parts web site they have a great DIY on the door panel removal. I made up a cord from the cig lighter with two plug style crimp on ends, un plug the motor wires and put the cord on the two terminals plug it in momentarily it will either want to go up or down if up just reverse the two wires and see if it will go down, that should tell you if the motor is bad or you have a track slide or other mechanical problem, the motor change is not to bad to do I am working on a DIY to post,
will be happy to help all I can.
