Crashed My Car

Couple days ago I was taking a left turn. It was rainy, and I gunned it a little hard to the point where I went into a drift. She started going too far into the drift, and I overcorrected it so it was drifting the opposite way now. I bounced the curb and took out an electrical box that was between a MUCH MUCH larger electrical box, and a cement busstop bench. At the time of the crash, I though I actually took out the busstop bench with the side of my car.

Without even stopping, my car drifted on the grass almost hitting a lightpole, and went back onto the road. At first glance, there was NO damage to the car, AT ALL. he following morning I discovered there was some minor scratches on the front bumper from the electrical box. The car seems to be driving fine. My biggest concern was going over the curb. I DID hit it straight on, but I also hit it doing at least 20mph. The car does not seem to be out of allignment, but the ride is no longer as smooth. There seems to me an awkward, almost non-existant vibration in the ride now. Would anyone know what I probably effed up?

This incident was really an eyeopener for me, because I went within less than a foot of the busstop bench, and within only a couple feet of a massive electrical box that my car would ghave wrapped around. I think I should really start appreciating my car for it's beauty rather than for how much fun it is to gun it and have the rear end fishtail all over the place.

definitely have the front end checked out, you will have hit the kerb with one wheel first rather than both at the same time, this could have damaged your rim(s) and or knocked your tracking out of alignment its far better to be safe than sorry and it could save you the cost of new tyres in the near future.
Oh, and yeah, start treating your car with a little more respect its a 1.5 tonne piece of machinery which potentially could do you and some innocent bystander a lot of damage, you want to drift do it somewhere safe.

No telling what kind of damage the suspension and wheels may have suffered. Get it to a good alignment shop or mechanic for a close inspection and work up. Just to brighten your day even further, you could have engine or transmission mount damage, dented oil pan, bent driveshaft, catalytic converter or exhaust involved too.

Rainy weather is not the time to test the car's (and your) limits , that's the time to drive with extra margin for safety, not only for yourself but also to compensate for the other boneheads out there who don't know how to drive, in the rain or in any other conditions for that matter.
