there are lots of threads about ovrheating, use the search button at the top of this page, it could be the switch in the side of your radiator or maybe even though you tried bleeding the system it may still have air in it these cars are notoriously hard to bleed.

Not hard at all to bleed. First timers usually get it wrong though.

1) Remove bleeder screw.

2) Start engine, set the heater on hot and turn the fan on full blast.

3) Rev the car at around 2500rpm, and watch the coolant and bubbles flow out of the bleeder hole. This will be messy . . live with it.

4) As you lose coolant through the bleeder hole be ready to replace it through the expansion tank.

5) Once the bubbles stop coming out, check the heater vents. If they're blowing out hot air and the bubbles have stopped, you are done. Put the bleeder screw back on. Let the car sit overnite or whatever, and check the coolant level in the morning, top off as needed.

I'm curious as to how you "tested" the waterpump?

maybe its the air intake, afterall it takes in cold air and cools the engine but not as much as the water pump.

Ditto on that, Chrys.

Kid, do you know how an engine and all the peripherals work together?

no disrespect intended but perhaps you should read up a little on how an engine actually works before posting nonsense statements like that^

it sounds like from your original post that you actually DID bleed the system, if you DID bleed the system and it is overheating, check and see if there is anything blocking the airflow to your radiator, and also check and see if your aux fan is working

we'd need more details, does it only overheat when you are stopped in traffic or on the highway as well? does the heater blow out hot air?
