318is lights on windows don't work
Sons 1993 318is windows do not work when the headlights are on. Turn the lights off and the windows work normally.  |

I bet he spilled something into the window switches - soda, coffee, etc.. and I suspect his window switches are the illuminated ones.  try unplugging the window switches one at a time and see which one is shorted accross the circuit - (unplug one and try others while lights are on) Could also be the window relay because it's power source crosses the interior lights path when headlights are on.Last edited by c1apton; 05-22-2007 at 10:44 AM.. |
