why dose my exaust smell like rotten eggs?

That is a sulfur affect from the catalytic converter. It may need service or you may need to replace the oxygen sensor

yeah there is actually some kind of fluid i think that cleans it or something, i just saw it in a magazine

I think it a Fuel /Air mix problem. But I don't remember which way ends with Sulphur Dioxide as a final compound Getting old!!

Have you run a can of good Fuel Injector cleaner thru lately? (Techron or BK44)

Do you by Discount gas? Some of that could still be fairly high in sulphur.

Tribune certainly is way out even for Kansas

Try a can of Techron injector or fuel system cleaner. If it doesn't smell any better after a half tank it is probaly the gas.

If you have a chance fill it up with Chevron hi-test for a tank. If I remember last time I drove thru that area Diamond Shamrock was the biggest dealer of mediocre gasoline. But that was long ago.

komodo, so you're running a straight pipe?? how does your muffler hold it so far?? and what kind of muffler u have??
