Top Speed Cap
I have just discovered that my 325i is capped at 210 km/hr. She got up to the speed very well, and it was even on a slight uphill. She could have gone more, but i felt the bloody limiter kick in. Would anyone have a clue on how to disable it, as well as the 6400-ish RPM limiter?
There is a BIG difference for both.... they are on Ebay.
I would suggest you to do a google search (not on Ebay) and could tell you that you can find just about most companies like Turner Motorsports or BavAuto sell performace chips and won't cost you $3 grand. All you have to do is search for what your needs are. On Ebay, you don't know who really made the chip and how it was set. Would you really want to take that chance?

+1 If you believe everything "flea-bay" recommends you'll be looking at the infamous electric super charger. As "boro"mentioned shop the manufacturers if your serious about a chip and be prepared to order one to your power range. I have an E.A.T. chip and it was worth every penny of $325
yea, it will cost u around 3 bucks, for a good one, i think dinan are 4 and half, but def. not 3 thousand.. and the chip will raise the limiter to 7K, so really, you may hit 135 or 140, but is that worth the money? i mean cmon you dont plan on going top speed everyday do ya?

Hey there, im the new guy haha. Anyhow, yeah its not that expensive at all. Im actually ordering this chip next week. I was stalling to try to find some e36 m3 camshafts, because they also have a chip that takes advantage of the m3camshaft on a 325i.
