brake fluid capacity
 
if i wanted to flush my brake system completely, how much brake fluid would i need?

Super DOT4 - 3/4 Liter Can
Boiling Point: 260*C

Strange, the Bentley doesn't say. But pick up 2qts, that'll be more than enough including what you'll waste on bleeding.

The system capacity is ~1 liter, I think, so get 2 qts., just to cover any contingencies.

I use less than a liter in the e30.

yea, well i searched on another forum :( people said that they used much less than the 1 liter bottle(im buying ATE superblue, 15/L... so i really dont wanna get more than i have to haha )

the other thing that popped up is, does anyone know about the service bulletin that says if you have ASC/AST traction control and ABS you shouldn't bleed your brakes and take it to a dealer? appreciate the help guys :)

I was guessing on how much you'd need, maybe 1 liter will do afterall. On the AST, I found this, don't know if it'll help . .

thank you, also i noticed every time it said AST, not ASC, is there a reason for that?
