brake light help
i have just got ma 318i back running and the brake lights are not working i have changed the fuses and checked the bulbs can any one suggest what else i can check

it should be at the top of the pedal shaft or whatever you want to call it. if i remember correctly, you have to take off the bottom dash panel. then you should be able to see it. its plastic and the pedal pushes it in when you press it. mine was hard to get out, i remember having to break the switch out of its bracket because it would not come out. good luck

I live just over the other side of town mate, if you need help just holler I will do what i can for you. I think these other guys are right it probably is the brake light switch.
