insurance
Hey guys me again. I was just wondering in general, are 328's considered a sports car in most states .. namely Oklahoma?
|
Most likely, because it says BMW on it your going to be paying a premium for insurance.
|
aside from the fact that its a bmw, i think they pretty much classify them based on things like the amount of door, such as 4 door sedan, or 2 door coupe. i dont think "sports car" fits the 328.
isnt sports car defined as like a 2 seat, 2 door or something like that? |
They shouldn't. But you should check around with some agencies in the area and see what they classify as a sports car. Good luck.
|
I see. Ok thanks guys
|
Yeah, I don't think doors necessarily have much to do with it. I owned a 99 323is and was paying $135 a month. When I got my 97 M3 it went up to $188 a month. Both were coupes. Thankfully I turned 21 and it went down to $118.

insurance here for a year ranges from $800-$1500, i'd say cheapest in all north america, i live in Central Canada..
|
I pay $600 for 6 months on two BMWs.
..so... |
hmm seems like its not THAT much more than say a honda civic : p
