shifter linkage? E36 325 auto trannies are shit, I hate mine, it wouldn't be as bad if it had a tranny in there, that worked better with the motor...

their tranny's arent bad? i mean my bro has an old e36 his has 225k miles on it. same tranny, and mines at 126 and tranny works fine?

bmw sources their auto trannies from gm...they are shit

really.......damn that sucks...

well how come people's auto trannys seem to get to fairly decent miles? i mean i've never seen too many problems with the auto trannies?
but yeah that sucks tho I didnt know they got them from GM. .....tisk

hopefully they dont still do that now

Um, what about the guibo flex disc thingy?

I can't remember exactly what the symptoms of that going bad are, but it's in that general area, lol.

im still so sad that the auto tranny's are GM's. does anyone know if they have many problems, I know their not the greatest....but?

they cant handle much power....they tend to fail fairly quickly when adding significant amounts of power...ever with super chargers

i meant that most supercharged e36's do not create that much extra power...good hp but not much torque
