what is this light called?
If you look at the picture in my signature, notice the small orange light behind the front wheel. I want to replace that with clear, but am not sure what the name of the light is. also, are they hard to replace or is it a matter of pulling it off and popping the clear one in?
That light is one of the turn signals. Lets people next to you know you're signaling like in changing lanes. If you make it clear (my mom's is) you may wanna put a yellow light inside it

joke...
New kid takes his first test drive just to get his liscense. He's rather apprehensive since its gonna be his firsttime on the highway.
Before he takes the car out, the instructor tells him to check everything on the car. with the instructor inside and the newbie outside, instructor yells to the new driver to tell him if there's anything wrong outside the car.
so he kicks the tires, checks out the mirrors and begins to check the lights.
Instructor : "brake lights!"
New driver: "OK!!" he yells out
Instructor: " Headlamps!"
New driver : "Working!!" he shouts...(He's eager to get on the road)
Instructor : "Side light!"
New driver : "They're ok...(pauses)...they've blown out sir!!...(pauses)...errr hang, on they're ok...(waitasec)...no blown out again...they're ok...
Yeah just pop them out with a flat head and put a clear one in. If you don't want to have "egg yolk" in the clear paint an amber bulb with a light dusting of rustoleum (Or similar) silver spray paint. That way it will glow orange but be silver normally.
