Ok, did the right balljoint today(which fixed it).

i planned on doing both, but i didnt have enough time, it took long enough to do one

heres the deal: if you want to do it, get a lift, do it at a shop, you need a hydraulic press anyway, and you need some room so you can pry the ball joint out of the wheel assembly, the tricky parts are getting the middle/upper balljoint out by unscrewing the nut on top, thats what really took the longest
