Bought my car monday, Tuesday morning shes already been bumped
So i just borught my 318i home from the dealer monday evening, I ran to the store and then went home and crashed at my apt. Wake up in the morning and found someone had bumped my car and jacked up my exterior trim and alittle paint...There was no note or anything just a couple of the plastic trim clips snapped. So tonight i had alittle spare time and decided to find a place to post about my car.
So along with an introduction to myself i would like to ask anyone know of a place i could order some new plastic clips to hold the trim and/or a new trim peice since the plastic is jacked up alittle bit. Also how i could go about fixing some paint scratches in the door? i took rubbing compound to them and got the scuffs out but there is still the area where the paint chipped off...shes a dark grey if that matters.
She is a 5 speed with 208 km on her odometer, i am currently in the Air Force stationed at Aviano Air Base...and its a Euro spec'd Bimmer. well hope to hear back from you guys. Take care
Andrew

Sorry to hear about the bump! Some people Well welcome to the forums I dunno how auto parts stores are there but maybe some clips and touch up paint can be found there
Welcome and sorry about your car, people are total dicks. I've gotten my fair share of people not leaving notes "He has a BMW, he can afford it...." We need to break it to these idiots that having a BMW is the reason we CAN'T afford it. I hope you get everything fixed.
oh yeah
As good as our imaginations are, there nothing compared to pics

Welocme, sorry to hear about your mishap. Dudesky had some good suggestions, I will add one. I always hear good things about BMA parts (bmaparts.com), there is a guy there who is really helpful from what i understand named patrick, so if you have questions call and ask for him. I have never actaully called but I see refrences to them all the time.

Welcome man. I'm a couple of hours from you (Heidelberg, Germany). This is an awsome place where you can find just about any question you may have. Whoever bumped you will get what they deserve.
